2021 Canada Immigration News - Davis Immigration Law Office

  Due to this pandemic ( Covid-19 ), economy of Canada has gone down. IRCC continued to accept and process applications throughout this pandemic ( Covid-19 ), the restrictions in global travel and capacity constraints led to a shortfall in admissions from the last several months. The Canadian government wants to increase the Canada economy. That is why to compensate for the shortfall of admissions, down economy and to make sure that Canada has the enough workers to fill crucial labour market gaps, over the coming three years, Canada will aim to welcome the following level of new Canadian immigration :   Ø  In 2021:  401,000 immigrants Ø  In 2022:  411,000 immigrants Ø  In 2023:  421,000 immigrants   That means in 2021 only 401,000 immigrants can enter in Canada. This is 2021-2023 Immigration Levels Plan. These big targets for new immigrants are a little bit counterintuitive for a country struggling with a high rate of unemployment, but big immigration aligns with a long-standing future
